We utilize an eclectic style of treatment, drawing on various aspects of interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, developmental and family systems theories to design an approach to treatment that works best for each individual or family and their particular concerns. Our area of expertise is in providing therapy to clients who manifest a wide range of problems related to their anxiety, anger, mood disorders, addictions, substance use disorders, especially individuals with dual diagnosis. As an Employee Assistance Specialists, we also treat individuals suffering with job-related and personal stressors.
Lekeisha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the field of human Service for 20 yrs. embracing various roles from line staff Clinician to Administration. She has experience in providing psychotherapy treating individuals and in group settings. She earned a Master degree in Social Work from New York University. Lekeisha trained at Yeshiva University for SIFI, mentoring and providing Clinical Supervision to several Social Workers, CASAC’s and Mental Health Counselors to meet their internship requirements. She completed Post-Graduate studies in Applied Behavior. She has also trained at the Williamson Alanson White Institute, Intensive Psychotherapy Psychoanalysis Program.
Lekeisha is a CASAC certification as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. As an OASAS NYS Impaired Driver Evaluator. She conduct assessments for individuals who acquired a DWI/DUI and connect them to resources as needed. Lastly, I am a Substance Abuse Professional trained to evaluate workers in violation of the U. S. Department of transportation drug and alcohol program regulations.
