Crystal Pena, MFT Intern
Are you struggling to cope with everyday life stressors? Has life transitions not been as successful as you would like to be? Do you sometimes feel stressed or burnt out ? Do you get the emotional and mental support that you need?
Are you struggling with communication within your relationship? Has your relationship experienced infidelity? Do you feel distant from your partner? Has your family life cycle changed, and you are struggling to understand and manage it?
Therapy can be safe place to start to talk about everyday stressors that overwhelm you. You can begin the process of unpacking unhealthy emotions that keep you trapped in a cycle. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist intern in New York with experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. I am dedicated to creating a safe and comforting environment to help you begin this journey of self-love, healing, and inner peace. My empowerment approaches with evidence-based practices are used to help guide clients to a more enriching and gratifying experience within their lives. I enjoy working with all families and individuals from diverse backgrounds, such as various ethnic backgrounds, and single-parent households. My most used practices of theory include Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Collaborative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). By developing a grounding and centering atmosphere for my clients, my goal is to create a harmonious space for you to work to resolve conflict with your loved ones, process trauma, and begin your passage toward healing. I look forward to connecting with you soon!
